Research and Consultancy Activities
The Department has identified research and consultation as one of its core focus areas. This is evident from the strong and pervasive emphasis on research in all of its training programs. Indeed identifying and developing insights into areas of relevance supported by well designed research endeavors is critical for the delivery of quality management education. The faculty at the Department has to its credit numerous research activities, market surveys, policy research. Currently the Department is engaged in consulting projects for the MNREGA – a flagship project of the Government of India and is assigned policy research based project by Government of Haryana on Public Health System. The faculty at the Department is also currently engaged in executing two projects, one each related to implementation of Electronic Customer Relationship Management in Higher Education in India and Knowledge Management in Healthcare industry in India funded by the UGC/Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. The Department has also successfully secured development grants from UGC and the state government for development of infrastructural and intellectual facilities further opening up the avenues for delivery of quality management education.

- Evaluation of Socio-Economic Impact of Indira Gandhi Drinking Water Scheme on SC Population in Sonepat District (Sponsored by Department of Public Health, Govt. of Haryana)
- A major research project on Knowledge Management Practices in Indian Healthcare industry (sponsored by University Grants Commission, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India)
- A major research project on CRM Practices in Indian Higher Education sector (sponsored by University Grants Commission, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India)
Apart from these major projects currently undertaken by the Department, many other research projects and consultancies are in pipeline.
The faculty at the Department is also constantly engaged in academic as well as applied research and consultancy activities. These activities include sponsored as well as self-funded research projects/activities.
