Chairman's Address

The newly established Department of Management Studies under the Faculty of Management Studies, in a very short span of time has become of the leading department of the university. Our university (erstwhile C.R. State College of Engineering) is only four years old, which came into existence on November 6, 2006 in the name of a legendary farmer leader Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology, Murthal. The University envisions promoting teaching and research in the emerging areas of science, technology, architecture & management. In the light of that the Department of Management Studies was established with three need based post graduate management programs i.e. MBA, MBA (ITM), and Masters in Hospital Administration (MHA) along with the Ph.D. Program. The Department is also very active in research and consultancy activities and aspires to establish itself as a prominent research and consultancy institution in the region. It gives me an immense pleasure in presenting to you the Department of Management Studies at Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science & Technology, Murthal (Sonepat). I am confident that the Department will serve its purpose by providing multi-dimensional development of the course participants and thus in overall development of the industry, society and the nation. I am sure that our management graduates will prove to be assets for the organizations they will work for in the ongoing era of ‘knowledge economy’.
